How You’ll Make an Impact 
As a Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Engineering, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, responsible for supervising skilled trades employees to support the production processes at the plant. You will oversee the work of the maintenance team thus ensuring safe and efficient operation of plant’s mechanical equipment. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable & innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will: 
Managing Personnel
•    Direct the work assignments and training of all personnel in the department.
•    Monitor productivity, motivating personnel to improve productivity as needed.
•    Review each employee’s work performance at regular intervals.
•    Communicate the problems and needs of the departments’ personnel to the head maintenance.
•    Schedule maintenance work with production to provide the most cost-efficient service.
•    Coordinate between maintenance and production personnel as well as other internal contacts.
•    Conduct Gemba talk with team on safety, technical topics.
 
 
Managing Materials
•    Operate in a safe and environmentally clean manner.
•    Monitor quality and availability of equipment and service provided.
•    Monitor and control replacement parts utilization for all equipment. Achieve minimum replacement parts usage. Recommended equipment and/or procedure changes to achieve improvements in equipment reliability.
•    Perform troubleshooting functions in any problem areas and recommended equipment and/or procedure changes where applicable.
•    Review of critical spares and ensure its availability.
 
Managing Equipment
•    Ascertain that all production equipment is maintained at a level such that it can and is operated in a safe and environmentally clean manner.
•    Recommended equipment or procedure changes to eliminate system bottlenecks or to improve monitor new equipment installation as to serviceability.
•    Share responsibility for spare parts on new and existing installations with maintenance services manager.
 
General Administration
•    Plan, negotiate, and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
•    Monitor monthly expenditures compared to budget.
•    Coordinate maintenance activities, and other related functions for the department.
•    Communicate operational status, department needs, problems, opportunities and priority statis updates to head maintenance.
•    Recommend and manage small projects as needed.
•    Additional duties as assigned.
•    Review of safety requirements while working in the plant.
•    Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and LZAI safety, ethics  policies.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success 
•    Mechanical Engineering Graduate With 8-10 Years’ Experience in Specialty Chemical Industry involving rotary and static equipment.
•    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines.
•    Should have exposure of energy efficient & safe erection of plant equipment, piping & structure.
•    Proficiency in written & verbal communication & adequate competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook, MS project, AutoCAD, SAP.
