ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Drive the advancement of Estane business objectives by overseeing the pilot line run 
• and transition of new product developments into commercial production. Innovate and implement Lubrizol's Most Effective Technology (MET) to enhance our processes. Utilize Process Technology to achieve continuous improvements in the Estane TPU manufacturing operations in APAC. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Champion the Estane business strategy by executing regional initiatives under the Estane TPU Business Technology Plan (BTP), utilizing the Lubrizol stage-gate model (PPMP) and managing the scale up of new products/process.

• Define and implement Most Effective Technology (MET) for Estane TPU manufacturing. Solving process technology problems through process fundamental exploration, DOE, and adoption of new technologies, equipment, and methodologies
• Lead the project management of strategic Process Technology projects.

• Collaborate effectively with multifunctional teams including R&D scientists, process engineers, account managers and product management to deliver successful scale-up on new and existing products.

• Ensure strict compliance with all internal and external Lubrizol HSE policies and standards.

• Develop and implement data-driven processes to improve the manufacturing process and deliver enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced costs.

• Apply extensive process and technology expertise to serve as an AP TPU process expert, promoting best practices and leveraging technology across Global. and maintaining close collaboration with the global process technology fellow team.

• Design, execute, analyze, and document on technical results, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS: 

• Skills, Experience and Qualifications: 
• Advanced education degree in chemical engineering, Polymer materials and Engineering or other related majors. 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Chemical or Polymer industry, with a focused experience on process optimization/development and product technology development. 

• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD, MATAB) and data statistical analysis using Minitab is a plus 

• Demonstrated success in delivering technology enhancements and process optimizations. 

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both oral and written English to collaborate effectively across global/regional teams. 

• Strategic vision to identify, prioritize, and capitalize on process optimization opportunities.
