SUMMARY
Supervise maintenance and project teams, asset maintenance, and improvement activities, to ensure compliance with operational requirements, process parameters, and equipment availability within the planned budget for each compression station.
Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while prioritizing the safety of operators and the equipment that make up the plant’s machinery fleet.
Support and coordinate CAPEX planning and execution.
Ensure adherence to the plant’s maintenance planning to prevent significant production downtime, guaranteeing the safety and reliability of production equipment.
Supervise maintenance and project activities to ensure that established schedules are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Manage the maintenance and Facilities team, including personnel selection, training, and assignment of responsibilities.
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Support the maintenance department in reviewing and improving maintenance plans.
- Monitor equipment inventory levels and place purchase orders when necessary.
- Monitor electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and prepare maintenance plans and improvement proposals.
- Analyze technical and operational incident records and assess the condition of machinery and equipment.
- Supervise the Utilities area.
- Review critical spare parts and ensure inventory updates in the warehouse.
- Manage the spare parts warehouse, ensuring compliance with Lubrizol operational standards, cost control, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with maintenance and refurbishment schedules through daily task allocation and monitoring of team activities.
- Support the proper acquisition of parts and machinery, optimizing performance through systematic monitoring, compliance with preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and promotion of standardized work methods.
- Contribute to risk reduction and accident prevention by enforcing workplace safety standards, proper use of PPE, and proposing necessary process or equipment improvements.
- Ensure ongoing technological updates and modernization of facilities and equipment by implementing approved improvements and proposing enhancements.
- Promote team engagement and motivation through effective people management practices, including training, performance evaluation, and positive labor relations.
- Supervise the plant’s 5S Program and productivity initiatives and analyze maintenance performance indicators.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings focused on performance improvement and people management.
- Meet or exceed the plant’s business objectives.
- Coordinate engineering projects and construction activities.
- Coordinate the execution of the Investment Plan.
- Be responsible for coordination and control of the CAPEX budget.
These activities include, but are not limited to, monitoring results against budget, reviewing expense management reports, actively participating in the annual budgeting process, supporting plant improvement initiatives, and continuously promoting productivity, reliability, safety, quality, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications / Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization is desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, especially NR-10 and NR-13.
- Experience in infrastructure management and in building a strong safety culture.
- Experience in maintenance planning and control.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, Fire Protection, Hygiene, and Training programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); AutoCAD is desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong engineering and mechanical fundamentals.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strategic mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Technological innovation capability.
- Knowledge of automation systems is desirable.
