What We're Looking For:

  • Drive printing and processing equipment uptime through effective repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Work directly with equipment vendors to rapidly troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures and part quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain effective process documentation for operating and maintaining printing and processing equipment.
  • Train equipment operators on best practices and routinely inspect work for compliance.
  • Coordinate with Build Planning to ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.
  • Supervise and delegate repair activities to other maintenance technicians.
  • Provide regular reports on overall equipment effectiveness and support case closure rates.
  • Develop and implement processes for new materials, printing equipment, and print modes.
  • Maintaining Safety, 5S, and ISO 9001-2015 standards in all 3D printing workspaces and processes
  • Other duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Lead and exemplify a culture where ‘safety is a core value’ is a true belief and ensure safety accountability across the organization.
    • Train and direct technician staff to operate production equipment and eliminate downtime.
    • Ensure production technicians carry out tasks in compliance with ISO certification standards, environmental regulations, and internal best practices.
    • Assist the Operations Manager with hiring and scheduling production technicians.
    • Report the status of materials and inventory needed for production.
    • Contribute to the implementation of 5S and other continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain a diligent core problem-solving atmosphere.
    • Provide direct feedback to the Engineering team on quality challenges and best practices.

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited school. 
  • Extensive investigation and analysis
  • Ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
