How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Technology Deployment Manager, Driveline and Industrial, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the growth in operating income for Lubrizol Additives through providing technical solutions and managing product development projects for customers in Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Australia to meet customer needs. You’ll support both Driveline and Industrial (IGO, HY and Grease) with a focus on Industrial applications. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

• Develop a deep understanding of Lubrizol products and technology as well as industrial fundamentals to enable technology-based customer engagement and collaboration.

• Provide technical support and resolve application issues for assigned customers and OEMs.

• Translate customer technical needs into technical plans then lead teams to implement those project plans in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

• Study in-depth the technological needs for various industrial applications and translate them into design parameters and performance evaluation protocols.

• Engage in project planning, define project scope, objectives, milestones, resources and economics. Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resource allocation and project success.

• Effectively communicate project statuses to customer teams and departments in assigned project areas.

• Accurately collate, interpret, and present data.

• Represent Lubrizol’s interest at industry forums as required.

• Develop and deliver impactful sales and customer training.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

Education Level

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry preferred.

Industry Experience

• Minimum 5 years of technical service experience in the Chemical industry, preferably in the Industrial application area.

Technical Skills

• Effective project management experience, including project economics.

• Technical skills to assist external customers and sales with performance or specification related queries.

• Demonstrates ability to solve technical and process-related problems.

Relevant Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Fluency in oral and written English is essential.

• Good presentation skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences (internal & external customers).

• Experience with managing projects and organizing significant volume of work.

• Experience in prioritizing initiatives and managing customers.

• Demonstrates interpersonal and conflict management skills.

• A good team player who demonstrates the ability to get work done through others and work effectively with other departments and divisions.

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to participate in teleconferences scheduled outside standard business hours.
