In this role, you will help shape the future of our business by supporting key customers across Germany and Europe while representing a global specialty chemicals leader known for innovation, technical excellence, and trusted partnerships.


How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute product line and market strategies to defend and grow Lubrizol’s share within selected market segments and international accounts.

• Develop, nurture, and expand strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional value.

• Identify growth opportunities and support the introduction of innovative products and value-added solutions.

• Lead commercial negotiations, develop proposals, and close sales agreements.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Technical Service, and other stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate reporting including forecasts, call reports, and expense documentation.

• Enhance market intelligence by providing insights into industry trends, competition, and customer developments.

 

Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success

• A university degree, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, or another technical discipline.

• Several years of technical or specialty chemical sales experience (ideally 5–10 years, but strong candidates with 2–3 years will be considered).

• Strong technical understanding of specialty chemicals, polymers, and their applications (experience in Metalworking Fluids or Greases is beneficial).

• Familiarity with value-based or Challenger sales methodologies.

• Knowledge of Lubrizol’s product portfolio and service offerings is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), and basic SAP knowledge.

• Fluency in German and English; additional languages such as Turkish are an advantage.

• Willingness and ability to travel within Europe.
