Salary Range: $107,000 - $127,000 annually

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Quality Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, leading daily QC laboratory operations while performing hands-on analytical testing. This hybrid role introduces and validates methods and instrumentation, ensures data integrity and compliance to ISO 9001, RSPO, RC14001, and GMP requirements, supports production troubleshooting and new product integrations, and drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and service.

 

You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life.

 

In This Role, You Will:

  • Plan and prioritize daily laboratory workload aligned to production and batch priorities.
  • Introduce new analyses and methods; validate, document, and train staff to procedures.
  • Author, review, and revise SOPs, test methods, and specifications to meet ISO 9001, RSPO, RC14001, and GMP requirements.
  • Ensure accurate entry and release of results (e.g., Certificates of Analysis) in enterprise systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Coordinate retesting and recertification activities; oversee laboratory waste management and the Chemical Hygiene Plan.
  • Maintain data integrity, record-keeping, and audit readiness, support customer and regulatory audits.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to technicians, foster teamwork, communication, and continuous learning.
  • Investigate and help resolve customer complaints; follow up to confirm resolution and identify preventive actions.
  • Seek and execute process improvements in methods, workflows, and equipment; monitor accuracy and quality of work methods.
  • Provide off-hours support to laboratory operations as needed.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

 

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of Quality Control experience in chemical manufacturing.
  • Specific hands-on analytical Lab experience including manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 5 years’ of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience leading/managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in leading audit programs.
  • Experience as a liaison to R&D and customer of quality needs.
  • Ability to effectively & efficiently communicate both verbally & written in English
  • Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting. 
  • Strong attention to detail / detailed oriented.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks by urgency.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward

  • Experience within the chemical manufacturing industry, a plus.
  • Experience in a cGMP facility or ISO 9001 trained, a plus.
  • Experience with Agilent Gas Chromatographs and ChemStation software.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for quality transactions and data retrieval.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, RSPO, RC14001, and GMP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Potential and interest to progress into broader QC/laboratory leadership roles.

  • Must be able & willing to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Ability to lift and handle objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to discern colors, read burettes, and operate instrumental analysis equipment.
  • Work involves routine use of PPE and occasional respirator use.
  • Ability to work safely both independently and in proximity to others within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to successfully complete and maintain safety training requirements.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods during the day.
