What You'll Do:

The Talent and Culture Specialist provides support in the planning, coordination and execution for various projects and initiatives in the Talent and Culture Center of Excellence aimed at enhancing employee engagement, development and organizational effectiveness.  This position also provides high level administration to the VP of Talent and Culture and his/her direct reports.


What We're Looking For: 

  • Serve as the project coordinator for talent and culture project portfolio, assist with project planning activities, reporting, stakeholder management, schedules and measurements.
  • Support functional team, leadership and project meetings by preparing agendas, presentations and other materials, taking minutes and coordinating follow up actions as needed.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials, resources and tools
  • Lead KPI reporting for the talent and culture organization
  • Support budget and financial management review and reconciliation procedures
  • Help drive continuous improvements through identifying, prioritizing, and implementing improvement opportunities relating to processes, tools and technology; identify and drive opportunities for automation
  • Assist with process compliance procedures and completion tracking
  • Lead focus groups and feedback sessions with key stakeholders
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in talent management, organizational development, incorporating relevant insights into project planning and execution
  • Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the VP and Directors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in responding to evolving priorities

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, communications or business-related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an HR administrative, services role or project based capacity with a broad understanding of core HR processes within HRIS, talent management and HR partnering.
  • Prior experience in HR Operations/Shared Services supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong computer and analytical skills – Microsoft Office and Human Capital Management system
  • Strong project management skills and tools
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Experience in change management
  • Experience in the chemical industry or similar field is a plus
