Position Overview

When you are a part of the TA team at Lubrizol, you will do important work by helping us to find the talent that will produce sustainable and eco-safe products, the oil additives for the cars we drive, and the ingredients for the medicines that keep us healthy. Your work will have a significant impact, by providing your expertise to further the capabilities of Lubrizol, through the recruitment of best in class talent.

The best recruiters are collaborative communicators. They can work and partner with hiring managers and human resources business partners across the organization to manage the all aspects of the full life cycle talent acquisition process. This includes education on the process and market data, scoping the needs of the role, marketing the performance profile to a strong diverse pool of candidates, screening and assessing potential talent, making recommendations, following up on feedback and presenting and negotiating offers of employment. Their greatest skill is having the ability to understand the needs of the hiring team, candidates, and the organization and collaboratively managing to these expectations to make a strong match between the company and the candidate. The recruiter must also be willing to partner with members of the talent acquisition team to ensure team success and increased functional credibility. There is also an extreme sense of urgency as the roles the recruiter will be focused on are the skilled workers in non-exempt production roles.

The recruiter has no direct reports however they must partner collaboratively with a cross-functional group of peers.  This will include hiring teams and Site HR partners while also taking direction and getting support from TA and HR leadership.  There is an expectation that the individual must be able to influence and consult internal and external customers (candidates). Ideally, this position will be located at one of our manufacturing sites across the US, but there can be some flexibility with remote work.

Performance Objectives

  • Manage and facilitate the full life-cycle talent acquisition process through collaboration and partnering with internal and external stakeholders, primarily focusing on skilled workers in non-exempt production roles.
