Information Technology Co-op (Spring 2024)

Job Description 

Lubrizol offers a variety of opportunities for students in our Information Technology department. During your rotations, you will work closely with experienced professionals as an active member of a diverse and innovative team to provide safe, reliable, and smooth operations for Lubrizol. This opportunity will provide you with real-world experience to bring to your future full-time career. As a member of the program, you will explore a variety of opportunities in the main areas of our department: Application and Infrastructure, SAP Services, Data Intelligence, and Information Security. 

Application and Infrastructure 

Students work to create, support, and enhance new and existing applications for internal use. Utilizing an array of tools to ensure secure and efficient solutions, you will gain a resourceful skill set in automated scripting and workflows. The teams available within Application and Infrastructure include, but are not limited to: 

• Cloud 

• Hybrid Data Centers 

• Networking 

• Low-code and Custom Applications 

• Digital Manufacturing Solutions 

• Robotics Process Automation 

• Media Services 

• Modern Workplace 

SAP Services 

Students work to design and deliver solutions for our internal and external business partners. Utilizing our enterprise resource planning system, SAP, and other integrated software, you will gain a valuable skill set in business operations and customer relations. The teams available within SAP Services include, but are not limited to: 

• Regulatory, Safety and Compliance 

• Plan to Manufacture 

• Procure to Pay 

Data Intelligence 

Students work to develop and implement interactive visualization tools. Utilizing complex datasets, you will gain a robust skill set in data analyzation and algorithm assessment. The teams available within Data Intelligence include, but are not limited to: 

• Business Intelligence 

• Data Engineering 

Information Security 

Students work to detect and remediate vulnerabilities to protect company assets. Utilizing various monitoring, scanning and endpoint protection tools, you will gain a strong skill set in cybersecurity. The teams available within Information Security include, but are not limited to: 

• Security Awareness 

• Governance, Risk & Compliance 

• Security Operations Center 

Qualifications 

• Active student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other business or engineering related fields. 

• Able to commit to three or more alternating semesters. 

• Ability to work in Wickliffe, OH for first co-op rotation (required).

• Students with a 3.0 or greater GPA will be given priority consideration. 

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
