Role Accountability
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary IT Director of Architecture and Transformation to lead our organization's technology architecture and innovation functions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving technological transformation, architecting scalable and future-proof solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation within the IT department. This role is pivotal in shaping the technological landscape of our organization and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of industry advancements.
Essential Job Functions
Architecture:
- Define and maintain the overall architecture roadmap aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and adaptable technical solutions that meet current and future business requirements.
- Ensure alignment of technology investments with long-term architecture goals and standards.
- Oversee the evaluation of new technologies, tools, and platforms to identify opportunities for enhancing our technical ecosystem.
- Design and architect validated interconnected systems for medical device segment.
Innovation Leadership:
- Foster a culture of innovation within the IT department, encouraging creative thinking and continuous improvement.
- Lead the exploration of emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Establish processes for ideation, prototyping, and experimentation with new technologies and solutions.
- Lead Automation, AI COE to create value through productivity
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with IT leadership team to develop and refine the organization's technology strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on the adoption of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
- Contribute to the development of IT budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support architecture and innovation initiatives.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of architects, engineers, and technical experts, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and technology providers to assess potential solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful implementation of technology initiatives.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify potential security and compliance risks related to architecture decisions and innovation efforts, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Validation of manufacturing and quality systems for FDA regulated industry
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role overseeing technology architecture, innovation, and strategic planning.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, software development methodologies, and emerging IT trends.
- Proven track record of implementing smart factory technologies including IIOT, Data, automation, MES and EQMS including validated system design experience.
- Strong track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional technology teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.\
