What You'll Do:

 

As a Global Project Controller, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation by leading and coordinating project controls activities on a global scale. The Global Project Controller will be involved in developing and implementing project controls processes, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets, and providing strategic guidance to project teams.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Develop and Implement Project Controls Processes:

    • Design and implement standardized project controls processes and procedures. 

    • Ensure consistency in project controls methodologies across global projects. 

  • Cost Management:

    • Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for projects.

    • Monitor and analyze project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

    • Implement strategies to optimize project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. 

  • Schedule Management:

    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

    • Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks and delays.

    • Implement strategies to mitigate schedule risks and ensure timely project delivery. 

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess project risks, developing risk mitigation plans.

    • Work closely with project teams to proactively manage and mitigate project risks.

  • Performance Reporting:

    • Prepare regular project performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.

    • Communicate key performance indicators, trends, and areas requiring attention. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints.

    • Provide guidance and support to project teams on project controls-related matters

  • Global Coordination:

    • Coordinate project controls activities across various regions and projects globally.

    • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices within the project control’s function. 

 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project controller with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, cost control, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project controls software/tools.
  • Ability to travel (20%) as needed for global project coordination.
