 Engineering Internship R&D (Summer 2024)

Full-Time Summer 2024 Based out of Wickliffe, OH

A day in the life

• Apply engineering skills and knowledge to preform tests characterizing fluid flow, heat transfer and other fluid-system phenomena of Lubrizol products
• Program and operate various test rigs to generate data on mechanical, fluid and system parameters with minimal supervision
• Collect data to assist in interpreting results and providing recommendations
• Design test rig fixtures and oversee their fabrication
• Communicate progress and results to staff, sponsors and customers
• Capture research project in written report(s)
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, supporting Lubrizol environmental and safety policies

Who are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in preferably mechanical or chemical engineering from an accredited college or university
• Minimum 3 years of engineering course and lab work
• CAD design software experience considered a plus
• Python coding language considered a plus
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated organization and planning skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
