What You'll Do:

As a Director, Data Products and Foundation, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving Lubrizol’s advancement in Data Architecture and Engineering. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly support our innovation goals by advancing our enterprise-wide data management and use cases.

In this role, you will: 

• Develop, prioritize and execute on business critical use cases on data engineering and analytics with various manufacturing plants, operational excellence organization, technology organizations and marketing organizations
• People leadership and management, career development discussions, hiring, onboarding and off boarding
• Work with Global Capabilities Center India team as well as other external consultants to define and execute projects
• Coordinate work with Data Science team to ensure data is in the right form as use cases are developed
• Collaborate with IT/Manufacturing/Operations and R&D to establish data foundation architecture for future use cases

Skills That Make a Difference:

• 15+ years experience in Specialty Chemical R&D/Manufacturing/Data related applications/Enterprise Architecture
• Experience in designing and building data solutions, such as data lake, data warehouse, data modelling, data quality, data governance, and data security
• Experience in working with large-scale, complex, and diverse data sets and sources
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and translating business requirements into data solutions
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Passionate about innovation and problem-solving, and eager to learn new skills and technologies
• Proficient in data engineering tools and technologies, such as SQL, Python, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, AWS, Azure, or GCP
