What You'll Do:

As a Chemist, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving experiments and analyzing the resulting data. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or those early career chemists with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic laboratory setting.

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Perform routine mass spectrometry experiments, including sample preparation, instrument setup, data acquisition, and analysis.
  • Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate and reproducible results.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mass spectrometry instruments, including routine maintenance and calibration.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to optimize experimental conditions and workflows.
  • Analyze and interpret mass spectrometry data to generate meaningful results and reports.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in a clear and organized manner.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in mass spectrometry techniques and technologies.
  • Proactively interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure testing meets their expectations.

 

Skills That Make a Difference:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in chemistry or related field (with a focus on Analytical Chemistry)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new concepts/techniques quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of mass spectrometry principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using mass spectrometry software and data analysis tools.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Considered a Plus:

  • Experience with sample preparation techniques for mass spectrometry analysis.
  • Knowledge of different mass spectrometry platforms and their applications.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with method development and optimization in mass spectrometry.
