The Regional Product Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end management and strategic direction of assigned product lines within Europe. This individual contributor role ensures that product portfolios are positioned to deliver sustainable, profitable growth while meeting evolving market and customer needs.
As a key member of the European Commercial Leadership Team, the Regional Product Manager partners closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align product strategy with business objectives, optimize portfolio complexity, and support effective execution across the region.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop, communicate, and implement regional product line strategies aligned with business objectives and regional priorities.
- Serve as a key member of the European Commercial Leadership Team, contributing product strategy insights to broader commercial decision-making.
- Manage the full product lifecycle for assigned product lines, from ideation and launch through optimization and exit decisions.
- Lead pricing governance and margin management, including price/volume decisions and establishment of pricing guardrails.
- Ensure volume forecasts align with market trends and provide inputs for annual operating plans (volume, revenue, margin).
- Monitor and manage individual product and product line profitability, recommending actions to improve financial performance.
- Optimize product portfolio complexity through SKU rationalization and assessment of product value versus complexity cost.
- Act as the essential link between Marketing, R&D, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize product mix and define future product requirements.
- Support innovation pipeline development through collaboration on market plans, product line strategies, and technology roadmaps.
- Participate in the Regional S&OP process, ensuring accurate market and product information supports demand and supply decisions.
Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success
- Proven experience in product management, product line management, or a related commercial role within a regional or global organization.
- Strong ability to develop and execute product line strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Experience managing pricing strategies, product margins, and profitability.
- Solid understanding of volume forecasting, market trends, and financial planning processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product lifecycle activities from launch through end-of-life.
- Experience optimizing portfolio complexity, including SKU rationalization initiatives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills within matrix organizations.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience contributing to S&OP or demand planning processes is a plus.
