Bavaria Medizin Technologie GmbH (BMT), part of Lubrizol, specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of innovative medical devices, including the first commercial drug-coated balloon. About the role

The Quality Systems (QMS) supervisor’s task is to support the Quality Manager and the overall site in compliance of the Quality Management System. You will oversee operations of the Document Control and Quality Systems support team, train personnel in the relevant processes ensure resources are utilized to meet the customer and regulatory requirements and assist the Quality Manager in administrative functions associated with Quality Management.

 

How You’ll Make An Impact 

  • Ensures QMS compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Leads and supports the Document Control and Quality Systems team.
  • Drives training, process consistency, and continuous improvement.Supports audit readiness and overall quality performance across the site.
  • Partners with the Quality Manager to strengthen quality culture and operational excellence.

 

Required Qualifications That Enable Your Success

  • 3+ years experience leading a QMS within a regulated manufacturing industry, (medical devices preferred)
  • 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience leading/managing cross-functional teams.
  • 3+ years of experience managing others.
  • Familiarity with the ISO 13485, EU MDR and 21 CFR 820
  • Detailed knowledge of medical device law and/or other applicable laws and standards in this field
  • Experience with supporting and conducting Quality Systems Audits
  • Excellent communication and verbal skills (German and English)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

  • High level of reliability, integrity, and accuracy      

 

Your Work Environment 

This role is based on-site in Wessling, near Munich, supporting advanced laboratory, manufacturing and R&D environments. Work may include use of specialized equipment, collaboration across global teams, and adherence to strict safety and security protocols.
