ACCOUNTABILITY:

The purpose of this role is to deliver value to customers by providing service in commercial skills ensuring sustained growth of profitable sales which are aligned with our areas of market focus. Contacts assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell Lubrizol’s Estane TPU products & medical solutions in the designated territory or by nature of customers.  Focuses on high standard goal of sales target, execution of new business development, key accounts & channel management, and solving customer problems with communication and trouble shooting in teamwork.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the sales and market development activities to promote growth of the business for assigned accounts including industrial OEMs and territories.
  • Foster and grow the appropriate business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Develop and implement aggressive sales plans at the territory and account level.
  • Effectively communicate with internal R&D, Marketing, and Operations group.
  • Develop, negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements.
  • Create and implement account plans that are well aligned with the business strategy and implement in hands on attitude
  • Comply with administrative requirements (CRM call reports, forecasting, expense reports, etc.).
  • Represent Lubrizol at trade shows, conferences, and at local industry association, demand planning, and regional marketing meetings.
  • Engage closely with Marketing & R&D to identify and evaluate new, high value opportunities.
  • Develop and manage annual territory budget.
  • Grow & manage lead distributor partner and key direct accounts, build exceptional customer relationship.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing applications, identify and support the launch of new products.  
  • Develop on-going market intelligence and research to provide for the introduction of new products and keep abreast of competition.
  • Work in partnership with the Technical Service Engineer to service key accounts and to also prospect for new accounts.
  • Work closely with internal team on successful solving the customer compliant.
