          ACCOUNTABILITY:

 Lead to resource Technical Service into business focused customers/promotion activities to ensure expected technical delivery.

 

          RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with commercial team to prioritize technical resources in top customer projects or high potential new opportunities to ensure expected technical deliveries.
  • Lead technical team to develop formulation technologies, concepts, and customized solutions to address customers’ problems and unmet needs.
  • Lead the implementation of the new product and concept launches in China & Korea by providing sufficient training to internal/external customers.
  • Build up in-depth understanding of market trend, industry knowledge as well as key competitor products / technologies in China & Korea.
  • Build up strong connections with other regional labs or global technical team to share the experiences and the best practice for improving team capability.
  • Grow the technical service team by ensuring talents’ long-term development plan and keeping it aligned with regional technical strategy.
  • Build up strong connection with external institutes/facilities and work as the bridge to ensure innovative technologies are accessible when it needs.   

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Education Background:
  • Master’s or above degree in chemistry or related field with above 7 years of experience or bachelor’s degree with above 10 years of experience in personal and home care industry, 2 years technical leadership experience is a plus.

 

  • Technical Skills:
  • Solid formulation knowledge in both personal and home care application areas is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to drive results through cross functional environments
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Be versatile to adapt various cultures (especially Korea)
  • Be adaptive up to 40% of time of travelling.
