ACCOUNTABILITY:
This position is accountable for the reliable quality of Songjiang site, including daily quality process to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement on quality management.
- Provide leadership to build up site total quality management and culture with continuous improvement
- Bridge the quality strategy from Lubrizol corporate to region
- Develop a high efficiency quality team to support business goal
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the site quality team operation safely and compliant with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Create and implement site quality vision, strategy, police, process, culture and best practice to continuously improve quality
- Lead site quality team to work with internal stakeholders including site, business, regional/global quality team and other corporate functions for the quality related activities and improvement initiatives
- Ensure the QC lab provide the timely and reliable test result to support daily production
- Execute and upgrade quality control plan to support the operations, including RMs testing, In process testing, FG testing, LZ trading goods testing, testing data key-in including non-SJ products, SAP maintenance of QC data for resale and rename.
- Conduct/organize analysis of SJ quality complaints, quality deviation and develop actions with related department, tracking and following up the implementation to continue to reduce quality complaints
- Buildup and sustain quality management process and system at site including tracking and improvement on quality KPIS, driving QA tools implementation with operations team(pFMEA, cPK, RCA etc)
- Tracking site quality status to analyze, identify and drive improvement activities with related department, leading key quality improvement tasks identified
- Ensure all the quality management systems/procedures in place and updated correctly and drive team to maintain and undertake the audits success of quality management system such as IATF16949, ISO 9001, EFfCI, Halal etc.
- Develop team and talent, build up product quality knowledge to support operations and business including R&D/PT/TS on product quality improvement
- Continuous improvement at quality team to be reliable in quality and improving efficiency
- Define department budget plan and control the budget
- Being key member of Asia quality team to support LZ Asia quality activities and development
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
- Education Background:
- Bachelor degree and above in chemistry, quality, engineering related.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years industrial work experience with at least 3 years at manufacturing area with direct responsibility on quality functions
- Experience in the chemical processing industry
- Technical Skills:
- Require a hands-on person with a solid background in quality management and experience with customer handling
- Good communications among different department
- Strong leadership Skill
- Fluent in English – written, verbal, presentation
