Production Leader

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Foster a strong culture of safety excellence and operational discipline, ensuring responsible and compliant manufacturing operations across the Songjiang production organization.
• Continuously develop and enhance the capabilities of individuals and teams through effective training, coaching, talent development, and succession planning.
• Deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality products while consistently meeting customer service expectations and achieving targeted cost, quality, and delivery performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure full compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Create and maintain a safe workplace for all employees, striving for zero incidents while continuously enhancing EHS awareness and engagement across the production team.
• Ensure all production activities are executed in accordance with approved SOPs, company policies, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Lead the production team to execute the production schedule effectively, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
• Lead operational and technical innovation initiatives to continuously improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and lead comprehensive training programs to enhance the technical, operational, and leadership capabilities of employees at all levels within the production organization. Build a strong organizational structure and maintain a robust succession planning process.
• Develop, manage, and ensure compliance with the annual operating budget while optimizing resource utilization.
• Control manufacturing costs by establishing effective production standards, resource integration, implementing process improvements, and driving cost reduction initiatives without compromising safety, quality, or service.
• Develop and execute a two-year production roadmap aligned with the site's strategic objectives and business priorities.
• Continuously improve workplace organization and housekeeping standards through effective implementation and sustainment of 5S principles.
• Have a good communication with each business units to support business

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

1. Education Background：

Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and above

2. Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Quality and HSES management systems (ISO, MOC, PSM, etc).
• Demonstrated successful production management experience within a plant environment
• Strong people development ability
• Strong interpersonal, motivational, team building skills
• Focus on detail improvement
• Demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication in English and Chinese language

3. Other Experiences Preferred：    

• At least 7 years related experience
• Experience with polymerization chemistry and extrusion processes preferred.
• Experience with the operation and configuration of distributive control systems preferred
• Experience with lean 6 sigma manufacturing preferred
