Summary:

 

Point of contact for managers and teams in HR topics related to coaching needs, employee engagement, people management, and employee relations.  Understanding the issues, competitive landscape and key strategies for the business and sites to which assigned.   

Implement global HR projects and tools in Latin America for performance and talent management, Culture, Diversity & Inclusion, also acting as the HR communications representative for the region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as main HR contact for site leadership and shape/deliver HR priorities related to policies and programs implementation, employee engagement aspects, workforce planning and organizational changes.
  • Facilitate the cultural change process, supporting leaders in the incorporation of new culture.
  • Act as change agent and supports site leaders in planning / managing people and organization events.
  • Work closely with local management/employees to improve work relationships, build engagement, increase productivity, attract, and retain talents.
  • Identify training needs for employees and individual employee coaching needs within the context of overall strategy. Deliver locally required training/learning sessions.
  • Partner with Global HR Center of Expertise (CoE) seeking best alternatives to meet regional needs regarding talent development and management.      
  • Ensure effective performance management process, through the good use of performance evaluation system, seeking transparency and increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the implementation and completing of Performance Improvement Plans and corrective actions.
  • Support managers during the disciplinary process including development of plan of action.
  • Ensure compliance with HR processes and associated country laws at the site level, educating and coaching managers around employee relations or labor relations issues.
  • Act as point of contact and conduct investigations for employee issues, communicating outcomes of inquiries and investigations to appropriate stakeholders. 
  • Facilitate internal communications of HR actions, career management, best practices, climate, and culture.
  • Coordinate employee engagement surveys and monitor actions plans and results, focusing on engagement and sustaining best practices.
  • Support the local recruitment process as needed.
  • Identify need for compensation review of existing job/role, evaluate requirements, document new responsibilities and competencies and provide to compensation area analysis.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Human Resources, or another relevant field
  • MBA in HR or equivalent is a plus
  • Minimum of 7-years’ experience in HR
  • Experience delivering HR services to sites
  • Experience in Latin America support
  • Experience in working with HR Information Systems:  Success Factors, Active Learner, SAP HR module
