Job Summary:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and efficient digital solutions and IT services that adhere to corporate standards and contribute to a safe workplace.

As both a local and global IT Project Manager, you will lead complex IT projects from inception to completion, applying deep knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing strategic direction, strong organizational oversight, and leadership. This role also requires the capability to train and mentor colleagues, promoting project management best practices across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Planning & Management:

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals

- Develop, maintain, and adjust detailed project plans, timelines, resources, and budgets

- Distinguish, select, and correctly apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies depending on project needs

- Monitor progress through regular status updates, risk assessments, and proactive adjustments

- Ensure adherence to the Stage-Gate process, including documentation, approvals, and governance checkpoints

 

Stakeholder Communication:

- Serve as primary contact for project stakeholders

- Deliver clear, timely updates in English, Portuguese, and Spanish

- Facilitate meetings and presentations to engage, inform, and align stakeholders

 

Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams across multiple regions

- Foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and mentor junior staff

- Train colleagues on project management processes, tools, and methodologies

 

Risk & Issue Management:

- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks

- Resolve project issues promptly, escalating when necessary

- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards

 

Quality Assurance:

- Implement quality processes to meet deliverable standards

- Conduct post-project reviews, documenting and sharing lessons learned

- Promote continuous improvement in IT project delivery

 

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification required

- Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role

- Demonstrated capability to apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks

- Clear understanding and experience with the Stage-Gate process

- Strong command of MS Project, JIRA, or comparable tools

- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects within scope, time, and budget

- Knowledge of managed projects in SAP, Infrastructure and SaaS products

- Experience in project management on ServiceNow (desirable)

- Experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or technology

- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development, and digital transformation

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
