What you'll do:
Responsible for sales of Coatings products (Surface Modifiers, Resins & Polymers, Hyperdispersants, and Additives) to customers in South America. Provide technical and commercial support to existing and new clients. Develop short-, medium-, and long-term projects to ensure business growth in the region.
What we are looking for:
- Responsible for managing existing and new accounts in accordance with the global business strategy and sales management plans.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Develop strategies for Key Accounts and manage major projects with clients. Keep customers informed about new trends in the industry.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities in order to explore new and growth markets.
- Establish in-depth knowledge of key clients’ structures to monitor competitor activities and stay informed about market share.
- Timely and accurately fulfill administrative requirements such as visit reports, sales forecasts, expenses, etc.
- Manage Distributors and Sales Agents by conducting monthly meetings, preparing meeting minutes, driving sales, providing training, and making joint visits to potential clients.
- Make domestic trips to manage customers throughout the territory.
- International travel to participate in global meetings, trainings, and business fairs.
Skills that make a difference:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or chemistry required
• Fluency in English is required and in Spanish is desirable
• Minimum 7+ years of sales experience
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in coatings and inks markets.
• Ability to manage regional and global accounts.
• Desirable post graduation or MBA
