The goals of this position are to provide support in quality initiatives, and manufacturing process within the Elmendorf, Texas facility.



  • Under direct supervision, complete daily batches as assigned per batch ticket instructions.
  • Includes the operation of production equipment such as pumps, blenders, reactors and weigh scales.
  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Lubrizol Oilfield Solutions.
  • Must know the Quality Process and comply with all requirements of the Quality System Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Start and operate various machines and production equipment.
  • Perform required steps from batch tickets.
  • Process blends and mild reactions in vessels.
  • Keep hoses, pumps and vessels clean in between process batches.
  • Prepare product for shipping to include packaging, stenciling and labelling.
  • Assist maintenance with preventive maintenance start-ups and shutdowns.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork to keep materials up to date (batch yield on each completed batch ticket).
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
  • Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.




  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be able to read and comprehend critical production documents.
  • Computer skills helpful.
  • Strong communication skills.

oAbility to follow oral instruction.

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience with production equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work closely with others.



  • HAZMAT DOT training.
  • 40 hour HAZWOPPER training.
