Job Description – Apprentice (Indirect Procurement Europe)

Reporting Line

• Reports to: Indirect Supply Manager – Procurement ES&S
• Functional support from: Belgian Procurement Manager (Packaging)

Role Purpose

The apprentice supports the Indirect Procurement team across European operations, with a primary focus on Packaging category. The role aims to develop procurement expertise through active contribution to sourcing activities, supplier performance management, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Procurement (Primary Scope)

• Support procurement activities for packaging across all European sites
• Assist in tender processes (RFQ/RFP preparation, supplier follow-up, analysis)
• Set up and update price lists in SAP for Packaging
• Monitor supplier performance and manage non-conformities
• Track and follow up Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to close
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sites and functions
• Provide support for other Packaging related projects
• Provide operational support and continuity when the buyer / manager is unavailable

Support the European Indirect Procurement team (Secondary Scope) if requested

Profile

• Master’s student in Business, Procurement, or International Management
• Interest in procurement and supply chain
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Fluent in English and French
