Summary of the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Specialist to join our Lubrizol Technology Operational Excellence team in India.  In this role you will support Lubrizol Technology’s Operational Excellence process workflow management to document and maintain harmonized processes.

 

The Technology Process Analyst plays a crucial role in creating, analyzing, and continuously improving process maps to support the global Technology organization process management along the design value stream needs.  They work closely with stakeholders, process owners and technology teams to gather process capabilities, workflow steps and actions, and implement documentation.  The Process Analyst is responsible for ensuring processes are aligned with business objectives, enable efficiency, and support process owner projects.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of process workflows provided by a Technology Process owner.
  • Drive documentation management of change and continuous improvement ideas in processes.
  • Actively identify process workflow challenges where improvement projects are needed.
  • Extract transaction data from SAP systems, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and generate process workflow solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Analysts using similar tools from across the organization to share best practices to help drive Operational Excellence across Lubrizol.
  • Pursue self-development/training opportunities to remain current with emerging business application technologies.

 

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

 

Education / Certification: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as chemistry, computer science, engineering, or related fields.

 

Experience and Skills:  

2+ years of industry experience with

  • Proven experience as a Business or Process Analyst, or similar role, with a strong understanding of process workflow tools.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Visio for developing process maps
  • Knowledge of SAP Signavio or other SAP process mining tools.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) specifications
  • Strong technical writing skills needed to document processes and procedures within a specialty chemicals design value stream
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems or processes and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills needed to work with cross functional teams.
  • An aptitude and interest for creating process insights that will drive continuous improvement.
  • An aptitude and interest to improve organizational efficiency through process automation and/or harmonization.
