Summary of the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our LZAM Strategy and Commercial Excellence team in India. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business insights and enhancing commercial excellence through data analysis, visualization, and strategic insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial operations, pricing, or supply chain management, with expertise in Power BI development and strong analytical skills. Experience with SAP is highly desired, and prior experience in the specialty chemicals industry is preferred.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights and reports.
•    Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to analyze sales performance, market trends, and other key performance indicators.
•    Perform data analysis and modeling to identify business opportunities, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
•    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.
•    Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and making strategic recommendations.
•    Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, and provide effective solutions.
•    Support the implementation and utilization of SAP systems and tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
•    Collaborate with global teams to share best practices and drive alignment in reporting and analysis processes.
•    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analytics.


Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

Education / Certification: 


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.


Experience and Skills:  

•    Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial operations or supply chain management, with a focus on data analytics and reporting.
•    Strong expertise in Power BI development, with the ability to create interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
•    Advanced analytical skills, with experience in data modeling, and statistical analysis.
•    Experience with SAP systems, particularly in the areas of sales, supply chain, or finance.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
•    Highly committed and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
•    Experience in a global company environment or cross-functional teams is a plus.
•    Prior experience in the specialty chemicals industry is highly preferred.
