What You'll Do:

As a Regional Technology Deployment Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation of leading a team of Technology Deployment Managers in support of refrigeration, industrial, and thermal management segments. The Regional Technology Deployment Manager is accountable for the coordination and oversight of technology deployment across the region and will ensure efficient and effective implementation of the business strategy through an in-depth knowledge of the technical applications and industries. The Regional Technology Deployment Manager requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to plan and execute technical projects/solutions to meet customer and business needs. 

What We're Looking For:

• Subject matter expert in refrigeration, industrial compressor, industrial products, or thermal management technologies that is informed of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide accurate guidance and support to technology deployment managers and key customers.
• Provides guidance and support to technology deployment managers, ensuring they have the necessary resources, tools, and information to carry out their responsibilities effectively. Utilize various technical tools to make accurate and data-driven product recommendations to customers.
• Interface with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and engineering firms by understanding the applications and effectively communicating application requirements and specifications to ensure successful integration and deployment of Lubrizol solutions.
• Serve as a reliable resource for sales account managers and product managers, providing technical consultation and guidance on products and applications. Assist in understanding customer requirements, evaluating technical feasibility, and proposing suitable product recommendations or modifications to meet specific customer needs.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, external manufacturing, technical applications labs, R&D and/or production teams ensure customer requirements are met and support services are in place for optimal customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for guiding and supporting TDMs, setting goals and expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and creating development or improvement plans for team members.
• Act as a technical contact who provides lubricant recommendations, conducts technical exchange meetings, and delivers technical training for internal teams and key customers.
• Provides input and support the alignment and execution of global business strategies.
• Implement the Lubrizol stage gate process to manage the commercialization of new products and technical support projects.
• Accountable for the continuous improvement of application tools and tech deployment processes
• Provides input for technical budgeting, project assignments and capex approvals.
• Fosters an environment with an enhanced focus on safety to ensure objectives are exceeded. 

Skills That Make a Difference: 

• BS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years refrigeration, industrial compressor, industrial or thermal management lubricant technical experience.
• 3+ years technical team management experience.
• Technical background in specialty chemicals or industrial lubricants.
• Strong and effective communication skills in diverse audiences (i.e. technical, executive and non-technical).
• Travel up to 20%.
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop solutions based on facts, data, and logical assumptions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of SAP and CRM preferred.
