Job Summary:
Lubrizol is seeking a Network Delivery Engineer responsible for the end‑to‑end design, implementation, testing, and operational handover of enterprise network solutions. The role focuses on delivering secure, resilient, and scalable LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud connectivity in alignment with architectural standards, security policies, and service requirements. The engineer will work closely with network architecture, security, operations, and external vendors, demonstrating strong technical communication, problem‑solving, collaboration, and ownership while managing complex deliveries, driving issue resolution, and ensuring operational readiness in a global environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver LAN, WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud network solutions as per approved designs and standards.
- Lead network deployments, site rollouts, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.
- Configure, implement, and support network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless controllers.
- Ensure network solutions are highly available, scalable, resilient, and performance‑optimized.
- Own end‑to‑end network delivery from project initiation to handover to operations.
- Prepare and maintain HLD, LLD, implementation plans, and rollback documentation.
- Execute network changes through established change management and CAB processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Architecture, Security, Operations) and external vendors/ISPs for successful delivery.
- Ensure adherence to organizational security policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Implement network security controls including firewall policies, VPNs, segmentation, and access management.
- Support security audits, vulnerability remediation, and major incident resolution.
- Perform network testing, validation, and ensure operational readiness before handover.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Analyze emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Identify and mitigate network risks.
• Provide leadership and collaboration with Network Operations.
- • Troubleshoot high-level network faults.
Data center migration - network scripting and programming/automation space including:
- API Programming
- Python / Ansible / GIT
- Linux
- F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent, with 8+ years experience in global network environments.
- Strong experience with Firewalls, SD‑WAN, F5, and Public Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Solid fundamentals in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
- Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
- Knowledge of network security and access technologies (VPN, NAC, RADIUS, TACACS+).
- Experience in incident management and change management processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Arista, Palo Alto, Meraki, SD-WAN solutions.
• Network automation (Python, Ansible, APIs, Git).
• Cisco DNA Center / Catalyst Center.
• Aruba ClearPass.
Certifications:
• CCNP or higher.
• Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE.
• Cloud Network Associate certifications.
• SD-WAN vendor certifications.
Other Requirements:
• Flexibility in work hours and travel.
• On-call support capability.
