Summary of the Role:

Supporting the company-wide rollout of GCC’s in the India region, this position will lead a group of CERs and planners/schedulers supporting intercompany order processing, commercial samples order processing and 3P planning & scheduling. For span of control purposes, this supervisor would manage a staff of 6-7 team members in Pune.  This will be a working supervisor position.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

  • Supervise, coordinate, and measure performance of direct reports, handling business priorities to ensure organizational goals are achieved.  Facilitate performance management, merit promotions, transfers, dismissals, commendations, etc.
  • Provide appropriate coaching and guidance to direct report to support their professional development.
  • Ensure order management, planning & scheduling processes adhere to standard work expectations.
  • Utilize defined KPIs to identify and drive continuous improvement activity in scope of responsibility.
  • Ensure appropriate auditing is in place for inventory records, transactional and master data accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other functions to ensure smooth flow of materials and transactions, removing waste as needed to shorten cycle times.
  • Communicate and drive to resolve problems that impact customer service or attainment of financial targets.
  • Be a role model of Lubrizol’s core values.

 

Experience and Skills:  

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain within process industry.
  • Minimum 2 years prior SAP user experience. 
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Prior demonstrated structured problem-solving experience preferred.
  • Able to support work schedule that overlaps Western Europe and China time zones.


Education / Certification: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.  
  • Additional qualifications and experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service or Logistics preferred.
