Summary of the Role:
The CRM Dynamics Developer position is responsible for developing, customizing, and integrating solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions. They will write efficient code using .NET development languages, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools. The role includes performing system integration, data migration, and application support tasks, as well as troubleshooting and debugging issues within the CRM platform. The developer should have a strong knowledge of .NET development, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools, as well as experience with customizations and configurations in Dynamics CRM. Having Dynamics CRM certifications is a plus. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in developing solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  

  • Develop, customize, and integrate solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions
  • Write efficient and high-quality code using .NET development languages, JavaScript, and Power Platform tools
  • Ensure the development of high-quality code that matches the architectural vision, security, design and business requirements for the project our Dynamics 365 platform
  • Perform system integration, data migration, and application support tasks
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues within the CRM platform
  • Stay updated with the latest CRM development trends and technologies
  • Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical solution in the D365 environment
  • Strong understanding of when to use of native features and when it is appropriate to use custom development
  • Support and execution of data migrations from external data sources into D365 using middleware solution or data migration technologies (like Microsoft Data Import/Export Framework)
  • Ability to document both functional and technical design solutions and successfully communicate this information to IT and user community
  • Ensures all code/configuration passes internal QA, Integration, UAT and other tests before being deployed for production
  • Ensures that 100% of code is well maintained in source code repository
  • Ability to support integrations to Microsoft Dynamics 365

 

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform
  • Experience implementing and customizing Dynamics 365 apps along with building reports and dashboards
  • Strong knowledge of .NET development languages (C#), JavaScript, and Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Common Data Model and Dataverse Services
  • Experience in Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing Automation and Portal solutions
  • Ability to integrate into Dynamics 365 using Application Integration Framework and/or other services
  • Ability to create functional and technical specifications and documentation for the project including specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
  • Familiarity with CRM architecture, plugins, workflows, and web services
  • Thoughtful practitioner of software engineering methodologies, frameworks and tools including Agile/Scrum methodologies

 

Education / Certification: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification preferred

 

Experience and Skills:  

  • Excellent English writing and speaking skills necessary. English medium schooling preferred
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics product deployment and development experience
  • Experience in Power Platforms
  • Experience in Agile development methodology
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to work in a global team environment
