ROLE:

  • Overall responsibility to Demand controlling, supply planning of one BU in APAC
  • Lead MPS (Master Production Schedule) and RCCP (Rough Cut Capacity Planning) to maintain and improve supply service level to APAC customers
  • Be accountable for trading materials planning and supply for APAC countries by coordinating on demand, replenishment and logistics to maintain and improve supply service level to customers
  • Be responsible for the supply planning session of NPI, MA and product change to support new product lunch and trial. Be responsible for inventory control and NWSM management and relative KPI through data analysis and driving team actions.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Demand controlling and Supply planning

                Lead or fulfill demand control to drive forecast fulfillment and short-term adjustment

                Lead and coordinate supply planning to fulfill order and manage inventory level

MPS & RCCP of Manufacturing sites

  • Establish monthly MPS Implement RCCP and by converting demand, incl. forecast, customer orders, commercialization timeline etc. into a feasible production plan to ensure matched sets of materials and capacities are available to meet the needs of customers in a cost-effective and production efficient manner.
  • Ensure production plan and manufacturing schedules covers immediate and future demand.

Supply Planning of regional warehouses

  • Responsible for weekly stock replenishment for country warehouses base on forecast and open orders
  • Order processing (PR, PO, STO), tracking and other cross-functional coordination like master data setting, invoice issuing, or complaint, etc.
  • Pre-alert for potential Stock low (S/L) and Stock out (S/O) materials and initiate allocation, order control and risk mitigation discussion with commercial & CER team
  • Conduct the monthly supply review meeting with APAC demand planner and account managers
  • Timely feedback customer orders status through Z-block change in SAP system

New Product Introduction and Trial

  • Understand business unit commercial strategic plan and manage the coordination of the supply chain in MA implementation to ensure the new products into the market rapidly
  • Control product change process, such as global products transfer to local production lines and other changes
  • Follow up on MA results to ensure smooth implementation of follow-up plans
  • MA product data maintenance, incl. SAP code creation, production batch management tracking, UD code improvement, inventory management
  • Collaborate with product manager, process technology, quality and purchasing team to make the MA process more efficient

Inventory Management

  • Monthly review and update stock policy including safety stock (SS) proposal
  • Control the month end inventory at target level, and could give heads-up for over target cases along with impact estimation
  • Daily inventory adjustment like relabel, block and release to support sales order fulfillment and ensure data accuracy for material availability
  • Responsible for Non-Working Slow-Moving (NWSM) result and host monthly NWSM review meeting with country managers and other relative functional teams to work out action plan, owner, and deadline, and drive for result
  • Potential aging materials review and initiate block and shelf-life extension monthly

Other tasks

  • Early involved into new project launching discussion on inventory build-up plan, and master data setting if necessary
  • Monthly analysis reports, including but not limited on inventory and DOC report, sales & forecast report, NWSM report and extra cost report

Continued Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize supply chain efficiency

Promote digitalization of supply planning

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Background

  • Bachelor’s degree or above and Master degree will be of advantage
  • Major in Supply Chain, Logistic, Industrial Engineering, System Engineering and  chemical is preferred

Professional Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in multinational organization’s supply chain management, preference given to candidates with manufacturing background
  • Demonstrated ability of developing production plans, taking into consideration company’s objectives, business strategic rules and current challenges/constraints
  • Informal leadership skills in influencing cross functional teams
  • Logical and sensitive to numbers
  • Strong problem-solving capability
  • Good cross-departmental communication and collaboration
  • Hands-on, willing to work and meet tight deadlines under pressure
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification will be a plus.

Data & Toll Skills

  • MRP knowledge is required
  • SAP experience would be considered as an advantage
  • Good data analysis skills of Excel, Tableau, Powe BI

Language Skill

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written)
