The Regional Supply Chain Senior Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating supply chain strategy and execution across multiple business units within a defined geography. This role partners closely with the global supply chain organization to align enterprise strategy to regional needs, ensuring effective localization and execution of supply chain priorities.
This leader drives operational excellence across demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling and logistics execution. A key focus is enabling strong cross-business collaboration, optimizing regional network performance, and improving end-to-end supply chain effectiveness, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) alignment.
The Regional Supply Chain Senior Manager partners with regional business leaders, manufacturing, commercial teams, and global supply chain leadership to balance customer service, cost, and inventory while supporting growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain operations across multiple businesses within the region, ensuring high service levels, cost competitiveness, and operational excellence.
- Partner with global supply chain leadership to translate enterprise strategy into regionally aligned execution plans while ensuring adoption of global standards, processes, and tools.
- Act as the primary regional interface to the global supply chain organization, enabling two-way alignment by providing regional insights, risks, and market dynamics to inform global strategy.
- Drive alignment and collaboration across business units to leverage scale, standardize processes, and optimize shared resources while balancing competing priorities.
- Lead and continuously improve the regional IBP process and execution to align demand, supply, and financial plans across planning horizons.
- Coordinate demand planning, supply planning, master production scheduling, finite scheduling, and inventory management across businesses to ensure end-to-end execution excellence.
- Partner with regional manufacturing and global logistics teams to optimize production and distribution networks, improve efficiency, and enhance resilience.
- Monitor and manage key supply chain KPIs (service, inventory, cost, and working capital) and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with regional business leaders to align supply chain performance with commercial and financial objectives and represent supply chain in regional leadership forums.
- Lead, coach, and develop a regional supply chain organization, building strong talent pipelines and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion process standardization, digital adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with global frameworks to enhance performance and customer satisfaction.
Experience and Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience across planning, operations, or logistics.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a matrixed, multi-business environment without direct authority.
- Strong capability to translate global supply chain strategy into regional execution while adapting to local market needs.
- Proven analytical and financial acumen, including cost-to-serve, inventory optimization, and KPI-driven decision making.
- Experience driving Integrated Business Planning and Integrated Tactical Planning excellence and cross-functional alignment across planning horizons.
- Track record of leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardization and tool adoption.
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working in a global supply chain organization with regional execution responsibility. (preferred)
- APICS or similar supply chain certification. (preferred)
