ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Provide accurate and compliant financial reporting, forecasting, and actionable/value-creating insights to enable achievement of business objectives and the development of a long-term growth strategy

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Prepare monthly or quarterly performance reviews and other financial packages for management team, with simple, clear, and valuable insights.
  • Perform extensive volume variance analysis by business segments vs. prior year, including written business analysis to identify key factors for gains & losses.
  • Perform fiscal year P&L projection regularly as requested with reasonable assumptions, including OI walk analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate annual budget process, and strategic planning process, from topline to OI. Challenge business assumptions and ensure the reasonability.
  • Review SIA and other commercial related contracts from finance perspective, to ensure complete compliance and protect company’s benefit to the best extent.
  • Review & confirm SIA accrual balance on quarterly basis and ensure SIA settlement following company policy.
  • Actively participate in price decisions by providing relevant financial information and inputs. Conduct price and cost change monitoring to ensure proper implementation of price decision or to identify abnormal price change.
  • Closely partner with commercial teams and provide on-going support in pricing, RM cost monitoring, scorecard tracking and other projects necessary to support business growth.
  • Conduct financial modeling for capital investment decision-making.
  • Ensure that business unit operations compliant with company policies, control procedures and statutory requirements by monitoring, and overseeing the use of control systems, procedures, and mechanisms.

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

 

  • Education Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Management
  • Technical Skills:
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
    • Proficiency with MS Office – Excel, Power Query, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
    • Strong communication skill
  • Other Experiences Preferred:
    • 4+ years working experience in multinational company with at least 3 years planning and analysis experience
    • Strong learning capability, highly self-motivated for continuous improvement, and strong sense of accountability
    • Able to develop business understanding quickly and provide in-depth analysis
    • Manufacturing experience or experience in chemical industry is a plus
    • CPA or equivalent is a plus
