ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers to drive business growth and operational excellence. This position is responsible for sales administration, reporting, CRM management, pricing activities, customer account setup, and general customer support. The Sales Coordinator ensures data integrity, streamlines processes, and enhances team efficiency in the Greater China sales organization.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Support Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers with administrative tasks and sales operations.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports using Excel and Power BI; provide timely data and information for monthly sales reviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new Account Managers, including CRM and other systems training.
  • Manage and maintain team sites, including the SharePoint site, ensuring key information is organized and accessible.
  • Review and manage data in the CRM tool, identify contacts, accounts, and opportunities, and ensure data accuracy and currency.
  • Prepare data for monthly CRM pipeline calls and create customized team reporting in the Account Manager portal.
  • Coordinate pricing activities, including setting up customer-specific pricing in Vendavo or other systems, updating price lists, and managing general price increases and distribution.
  • Submit requests for new customer setup (including sample customers), ensure SAP data matches customer purchase orders, and maintain accurate account assignments.
  • Provide new customers with necessary vendor documentation and coordinate customer account change requests.
  • Support the Customer Experience Team by investigating invoice errors, assisting with pricing and account questions, and providing customer price lists upon request.
  • Handle customer notifications and general communication to ensure timely customer support.

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales administration, sales support, or customer service role, ideally within the chemical or polymer industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SAP; experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce) and pricing systems (such as Vendavo) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Adaptable and proactive in responding to dynamic business needs.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
