How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Regional New Business Development Manager, E&MP APAC, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the identification, development, and securing of new business opportunities for TPU industrial specialties across the AP region, encompassing key markets such as film and sheet, wire and cable, hose and tube, adhesives, molded parts, and electronics. Collaborating with a diverse and passionate team, you will deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:

  •  Responsible for deploying the AP region marketing strategy and ensuring its execution aligns with the overall segment marketing strategy. This includes overseeing pricing, volume, and revenue projections that are consistent with strategic plans to achieve targeted results.
  • Outline NBD targets and share the plan with NBD team members; develop tactics and tools to communicate the value proposition for sales conversion; offer strategic and pricing advice to the commercial team to support profitable growth across segments such as electronics, industrial, and more.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the target market subsegments. Establish Lubrizol’s unique value proposition and competitive edge within key segments and OEMs.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industry leaders and OEMs to facilitate intelligence gathering, identify emerging trends, assess current and future needs, and drive market-oriented initiatives.
  • Identify and cultivate new target markets and customers by conducting value and opportunity analyses, fostering market and customer intimacy, building robust collaborative partnerships with clients, and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve differentiated leadership.
  • Drive innovation projects through to commercialization, managing the regional pipeline and partnering with R&D to prioritize initiatives aligned with financial goals and strategy.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, facilitate early market adoption, and drive accelerated market penetration.
  • Direct the NBD team in identifying and executing critical opportunities and initiatives, with particular focus on innovative projects.
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of accountability, speed, agility, and a proactive mindset aligned with company core values within the AP team.
  • Provide leadership, management, and development for the AP NBD team by promoting open communication, collaboration, innovation, and strategic alignment. Foster a culture of customer centricity, growth mindset, and empowerment, with an emphasis on urgency and accountability to achieve financial objectives.

Required Qualifications that Enables Your Success

  • Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Applied Chemistry, or a related field
  • Over ten years of commercial experience in the specialty chemicals industry, including proven leadership of teams.
  • Experience in plastics and rubber sectors preferred
  • Proven track record in achieving financial targets and driving business growth
  • Strong leadership with experience managing cross-functional teams and commercial projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills
  • Ability to build trust, motivate teams, and influence in a multicultural, matrixed global environment
  • Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and results-oriented mindset
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with uncertainty in dynamic environments and new product development
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel
