Job Summary:

          As the Regional Capital Leader specializing in Construction Design and Execution for Chemical Processing Plants, this role is pivotal in overseeing and managing the planning, design, and execution of chemical processing plant construction projects within your designated region. This role will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Feasibility Analysis:

  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of construction projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage regional project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Monitor regional project expenses and adjust budgets as necessary.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay current with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to chemical processing plant construction.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with environmental, safety, and zoning regulations.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement regional quality control processes to ensure construction meets design specifications.
  • Conduct inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards.

Resource Allocation:

  • Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Manage procurement processes for necessary supplies and materials.

Client Communication:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and address client concerns.

Timeline Management:

  • Develop project schedules and timelines.
  • Monitor progress and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Safety and Environmental Responsibility:

  • Prioritize safety on construction sites and implement safety protocols.
  • Promote environmentally friendly practices in construction projects.

 

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in construction management, especially in chemical processing plant projects.
  • Knowledge of chemical plant processes and equipment.
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the chemical processing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
