Accountabilities:
As a Product Management Intern, you will gain in-depth exposure to the core management of industrial and refrigeration lubricant products. You will assist the Product Manager in market research, competitive analysis, data consolidation, and marketing material preparation, providing direct support for our product strategy and market decisions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the B2B industrial goods sector.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing industry trends, policies & regulations (e.g., environmental standards, energy efficiency standards), and technical developments in the Chinese industrial and refrigeration lubricants market.
- Monitor and analyze key competitors' product information, pricing strategies, marketing activities, and channel dynamics.
- Build and maintain a market intelligence database using industry reports, web resources, trade show materials, etc.
Product & Data Support
- Assist in organizing and translating product technical data sheets (TDS), material safety data sheets (MSDS), product brochures, and training documents.
- Assist in consolidating and performing preliminary analysis of internal data (e.g., sales data, customer feedback); create visual charts and reports.
- Participate in aspects of product lifecycle management, such as preparations for product launches and product complexity management.
Marketing & Sales Support:
- Assist in preparing product presentation decks, technical case studies, marketing collaterals, and other promotional materials.
- Assist in customer immersion projects for the industrial and refrigeration market and summarize the data for report out.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Communicate and collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Technical Service, OEM, and R&D departments to complete tasks assigned by the Product Manager.
Qualifications
Education
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate student. Background in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering (refrigeration focus), Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong information retrieval and analytical skills; data sensitive.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel (PivotTables, charts) and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin.
- Good command of English (CET-4 or above); able to read and translate technical documents.
Personal Attributes
- Proactive with a strong willingness to learn and a passion for industrial (B2B) marketing or technical management.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and well-organized; able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A good team player.
Others (Not Mandatory, but a Plus)
- Basic knowledge or strong interest in lubricants, industrial machinery, or refrigeration technology (e.g., compressors).
- Previous experience with market research, data analysis, or relevant student projects.
- Familiarity with basic data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Python).
