ACCOUNTABILITY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Intern to join our Global Supply Planning team. In this role, you will support strategic planning initiatives, data integrity management, and cross-functional coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global supply chain operations and contribute to the optimization of planning processes within a multinational environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Tactical Supply Planning & Monitoring:
- Assist in monitoring monthly updates to product stocking strategies, including stock policies, service level, safety stock, lead time, lot size, etc.
- Generate and distribute performance reports to key stakeholders to ensure alignment between operation and strategic planning.
- Support the maintenance and validation of demand-to-supply forecast mapping records to ensure data accuracy.
- Support to manage and maintain commercial Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) to ensure all data is up-to-date and compliant with company terms and conditions.
2. Process Improvement:
- Support the "Planning Parameters Refreshment" initiative by collecting, auditing, and cross-checking supply chain data with regional teams.
- Ensure data consistency across global systems to drive high-quality planning outcomes.
3. Data analysis & Reporting:
- Assist in managing and refreshing global inventory dashboards, providing clear summaries of finished goods status.
- Analyze data trends and report findings to the global supply planning team to support decision-making.
- Utilize advanced Excel or BI tools to improve data visibility and reporting efficiency.
4. Project coordination:
- Act as a liaison between multiple functional teams to track project progress according to established timelines.
- Facilitate communication and follow-ups to ensure project milestones are met across different time zones and regions.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Education & Professional Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulation, Pivot Tables, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to handle large datasets, perform cross-checks, and identify data discrepancies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced global environment.
- Availability: Able to work 3-5 days per week for a duration of 6 months.
