As an Operation Finance Intern, you will support end-to-end financial operations and analysis for the APAC region, compiling and analyzing critical financial and operational metrics, supporting Financial Analyst to deliver actionable insights. Your work will enable data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, and finance teams, directly contributing to operational efficiency, cost optimization, and forecasting accuracy.

 

Responsibility

Financial Reporting & Consolidation

  • Prepare and consolidate monthly APAC financial reports, including plant operating spending, procurement spending, tolling spending & volume, and supply chain spending reports, tracking variances against budgets.
  • Maintain core financial tracking reports: EBAD report, APAC payment term improvement tracker, and NWSM report to support profitability and working capital optimization.

Operational Forecasting & Trend Analysis

  • Update APAC manufacturing volume actuals and forecast reports, to support aligning production data with financial projections.
  • Monitor and update monthly forecast accuracy, to support analyzing discrepancies to refine future forecasting models.
  • Track and update raw material price trend information, to support highlighting cost fluctuation impacts on production budgets.

Inventory & Ad-Hoc Support

  • Assist the Operation Financial Analyst team with inventory and MOS reports, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and management.
  • Support cross-functional ad-hoc projects with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams.

 

Requirements / Qualification 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in Power Query and Power Pivot for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Availability to commit 2-3 days per week for the internship duration.
