Accountant

Responsibilities / Accountabilities 

• Own key accounting and reporting processes to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Maintain the integrity of financial records across key finance cycles, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support tax, statutory reporting, audit, and internal control requirements in coordination with local and regional stakeholders.
• Partner with country and regional Finance teams to support business operations, reporting needs, and finance objectives.
• Contribute to process simplification, automation, ERP enhancement, and digital transformation initiatives, including SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA-related activities.
• Support finance governance, policy implementation, data quality, and continuous improvement of accounting processes.
• Assist with regional finance projects and ad hoc analysis to support business decisions and operational excellence.

Competences / Personalities:

• Solid accounting foundation with the ability to apply accounting knowledge to practical business situations.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive follow-through.
• Comfortable working with systems, data, Excel, and digital tools; exposure to ERP or automation initiatives is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
• Self-driven, curious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced multinational manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates integrity, ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
• Relevant internship or 3 years work experience in accounting or finance is preferred; experience in a multinational or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, finance digitalization, or data analysis tools is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong learning agility and career interest in finance are welcome to apply.

Location:

• This role is based in China, with location in Pudong or Zhuhai.
• The role is part of the regional Finance organization and will support accounting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement activities for Asia-Pacific entities.
• Regular collaboration with overseas stakeholders, particularly Southeast Asia finance teams, will be required.
