APAC Procurement Intern

ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Sourcing Intern will be accountable for providing essential documentation and data management support to the APAC Sourcing Team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate supplier and material documentation, conducting market data analysis, and assisting in sourcing activities to contribute to the team's operational efficiency and compliance objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supplier and Materials Compliance Management:

• Proactively communicate with suppliers to collect, organize, and update various supplier qualification documents (e.g., business licenses, permits, etc.).
• Track, follow up, and manage compliance documents for raw materials, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Halal documents.
• Provide comprehensive and accurate raw material documentation support for the company’s system certification processes

2. Data and Information Support:

• Collect and organize raw material market price information. Regularly update raw material dashboard.
• Assist in gathering necessary market information according to team needs.

3. Sourcing Support:

• Assist in identifying potential new materials or suppliers based on team requirements.

4. Others

• Perform other administrative and supportive tasks as assigned by the team.

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Education & Professional Background:

• University students or postgraduates; Major in Chemistry is preferred.
  
  

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluent in English (Verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, etc)
• Demonstrated capability in data collection, organization, and analysis.
• A reliable and strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
