As the APAC Marketing Manager, you are accountable for leading a team that is responsible for strengthening our Lubrizol brand equity, promoting our products and capabilities to stimulate demand, advancing our customer experience (including the digital experience), and delivering compelling communications that engage our external stakeholders. In this role, you will work in partnership with the Vice President of Additives for APAC and the cross-functional additive regional business teams to align, create and execute the regional marketing plan in accordance with business goals and objectives.
Key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate leadership and influence in the development of marketing both with internal and external stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Director of Global Marketing LZA under Lubrizol’s Marketing Communications Organization, supports all end-use businesses across Additives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, align and lead the execution of the regional , customer and product line marketing plan. Key stakeholders are the functional team, VP and executive leadership
- Lead and develop a team of markeintg managers with global product line, regional and customer marketing responsibilities. Ensure their efforts are prioritized in accordance with business priorities. Focus team development to build capabilities in digital marketing, financial accumen, generative AI, etc.
- Develop and manage the LZA Americas Marketing Budget in accordance with guidence set by finance and the strategic planning process
- Ensure aligment of global plans with regional efforts through close collaboration with the global team members and business stakeholderss with the goal of avoiding duplication of effort, leveraging best practices and coalating global trends and metrics
- In coordination with Marketing Leadership, LZA Commercial leadership and the marketing operations team establish clear metrics that measure our impact to the business and hold team accountable for their performance.
- Nominate and execute projects to drive continuous improvement of the Marketing and Communications team.
- Engage and build marketing insights to : inform business decisions, strengthen Lubrizol's value proposition and support customer marketing efforts
Skills, Qualifications, Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, MBA a plus
- A minimum of 7 years of prior marketing, sales, or commercial/product management experience. Ideally both B2C and B2B experience
- Demonstrated strategy development with global execution using business acumen and marketing CRM and SEP tools to drive results
- A track record to motivate and lead cross-functional teams
- Proven experience working face to face with both internal and external stakeholders and building outstanding customer relationships
- An ability to develop and influence new marketing concepts and techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to travel regionally and globally (20%)
- Experience of copy writing and proof reading, particularly for technical industries.
- Experience of working with marketing agencies and market research companies.
- Experience developing and managing a budget.
