Regional Strategic Marketing Manager – Pharma & Nutra IMEA

Position Summary:

Regional Strategic Marketing Manager – Pharma / Nutra drives the marketing vision across the pharmaceutical excipient and nutraceutical active segments across India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) regions for Lubrizol. Working with the global strategic marketing and regional business leadership teams, this role will define the strategic roadmap to position Lubrizol as a preferred innovation partner in the region – accelerating growth, expanding market participation, and deepening strategic relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership and Vision Development:

  • Develop regional marketing strategy aligned with global marketing strategy and regional business objectives for pharmaceutical excipients and nutraceutical actives
  • Champion Lubrizol’s Right to Win by identifying competitive differentiators and market opportunities with clear strategic criteria for success
  • Spearhead market expansion of legacy and novel products to ensure market capitalization and leadership in the respective markets
  • Lead regional innovation process embracing Lubrizol’s Local-for-Local approach to accelerate regional growth

Markets Insights and Translation to Innovation:

  • Conduct deep market assessments to identify unmet needs, trends, and growth opportunities across global and regional market segments
  • Translate insights into actionable innovation and partnership strategies
  • Identify and evaluate internal capabilities and external innovations (technologies, ingredients, delivery systems, etc) to deliver differentiated solutions working and leading cross-functional teams
  • Build robust business cases and commercialization pathways for the innovation projects to ensure rightful value is captured for Lubrizol

 

Leadership and Team Engagements:

  • Lead cross-functional marketing activities across sales, business development, and technical teams to deliver impactful growth in the IMEA region
  • Establish clear marketing processes and protocols enabling clear alignment with global and regional stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, market-driven decision-making, and continuous learning across global and regional marketing organizations
  • Represent Lubrizol and its technologies at various trade and industry events

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic marketing, business development, or commercial leadership within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or specialty ingredients sectors
  • Proven success in developing and executing regional strategies and leading cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of pharma/nutra value chains, regulatory frameworks, and innovation ecosystems
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen for building business cases and ROI models
  • Up to 20% domestic travel
