Title                  :    Accoungt Manager / Sr. Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The incumbent is expected to take complete ownership of our business segments’ interests and growth targets in the assigned territories. The incumbent must also own Lubrizol’s culture, and be an evangelist for our cultural beliefs internally and externally.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

           Business Development:

  • Business development and market creation for our very novel and innovative offerings – Pharma + Nutra products and Pharma CDMO services.
  • Targeted branding efforts for the products, by maintaining close relationships with the assigned accounts’ R&D and purchase forces.
  • Introduction of innovative product monetizing concepts, effective formulation solutions and technical support.
  • Attracting actionable feedback from the markets and working with LLS R&D – both for continuous product enhancement, and new product development.
     
    Sales and Key Account Management:
  • Growing existing sales ($XX) and profitability ($YY) – both direct and distributor-led.
  • Drive regional growth by developing a deep understanding of the customer-product-value mix and taking growth initiatives.
  • Developing personal relationships with assigned Key Accounts (Indian and International) – to create customer delight, and capture unmet needs, product perception and industry trends.
     
    Distributor Management:
  • Manage regional distributors to develop them as LLS’ extended arms for promotion, sales, trouble-shooting, and market feedback.
  • Achieving commercial and qualitative objectives through distributors by directing their teams to identify the right customers for the individual products and providing effective and timely commercial and technical support.
     
    Effective Reporting and Database maintenance:
  • Develop proficiency in business management tools (CRM, ERP, Forecasting) - to efficiently plan and forecast results, monitor sales performance and pipeline, and identify action areas for self and related sales and marketing associates.
  • Build and present robust financial and/or portfolio models for internal and external stakeholders.
     

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Total 12-18 years’ experience in the Pharma/Nutra/CDMO industry with at-least 8+ years in a commercial role (experience in technical-sales given weightage).
  • Front-ending OR customer-facing sales or BD experience for 5+ years.
  • Exceptional command over language, presentation skills, MS office tools.
  • Demonstrated results wrt business growth, market creation, and technical sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage globally located customers/distributors/consultants/internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work with and influence diverse teams in a virtual environment.
  • Willing to travel extensively both domestic and internationally.
