Regional Business Manager – Pharma / Nutra is responsible for leading the regional business with full P&L accountability ensuring sustainable and profitable growth of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical portfolio across India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region.

Responsibilities will focus on shaping and executing a regional growth strategy aligned with global business objectives, delivering target revenue and margin across the segments, overseeing commercial pipeline development, driving operational excellence, delivering strategic opportunities including partnerships and acquisitions. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, deep market understanding and connections, and the ability to build high-performing teams while fostering innovation and customer-centricity.

What you will do:

Lead commercial, marketing, and business development teams to:

  • Develop and implement strategic regional business roadmap and plans aligned with global business and IMEA growth objectives
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the regions, ensuring achievement of short- and long-term revenue and margin targets
  • Drive regional innovation embracing Lubrizol’s Local-for-Local approach to build a robust commercial pipeline and deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth
  • Oversee regional pricing strategy and demand forecasting across existing customers and partners to meet financial objective
  • Champion regional digital, AI, and data-driven decision processes to advance and accelerate operational effectiveness across the organization   
  • Spearhead market, customer, and competitive assessments to ensure Lubrizol maintains competitive advantage and access to new and differentiating opportunities with current and future product portfolio
  • Foster strong relationships across customers, partners and the broader market for continued recognition of Lubrizol’s leadership in the respective segments
  • Work with the global and regional business teams to capture pipeline and metrics with clear and concise report out of activities
  • Represent Lubrizol across relevant scientific and industry events to increase awareness of Pharma and Nutra solutions
  • Build and lead high-performing business team hyper-focused on delivering market relevant and value-added solutions

What you need:

  • Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical or related sciences and engineering fields
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pharma excipients and/or Nutraceutical actives with proven track-record of P&L leadership with developing and executing business strategy
  • Strong network and deep understanding of IMEA Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical markets and customers to identify the needs and deliver relevant solutions
  • Passionate leadership style grounded in authentic approaches to coach, develop and inspire team members across the regional and global teams  
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver on aligned expectations
  • Data-driven decision skills to drive commercial excellence and continuous improvement to drive changes and deliver measurable impacts to the business and greater region
  • Travel 20-30%, mostly domestic.
