Job Title:          Chief Manager - Financial Analyst

Reports to:       Head of Finance - South Asia

Division:          Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt. Ltd.

Location:          Vikhroli (West), Mumbai



  • The role aims to maximize financial performance by focusing on providing insightful analysis and influencing commercial decisions.
  • Ensure business transactions are properly recorded.
  • Support Business unit head during annual planning process.
  • Analyse, understand and explain the impact of monthly and year to date results & take a leadership role to address internal accounting and reporting issues and be liaison to International reporting manager.
  • Responsible to analyse the profitability and present the same in dashboards to the local management
  • Ensure appropriate understanding of key systems (SAP & Business objects)



  • To work as finance partner to the Commercial team by providing actionable insights on financial performance, help them to build financial forecast, Financial insights while finalizing the customer agreements & Proactively Support business in cost reduction & profit maximisation initiatives.
  • To ensure business transactions are properly recorded, Including responsible to calculation of customer rebates. Ensure revenue and expense recognition policies are followed and accruals are timely and accurate.
  • To effectively participate in the Annual Planning and Budgeting process.
  • Responsible to upload the monthly financial results in SAP via BPC.
  • To track performance against key metrics including STAR cost and key income statement line items (Zone 6 P&L) by Interpreting  monthly and year to date results and explain variances, for example, actual, plan & prior year to local management
  • Will work as FI/CO key user to handle SAP enhancement & implementation (including S4 Hana roll out)


Requirements - Education, Experience, Skills

  • Bachelor of commerce with Chartered Accountant having Experience of 10 years
  • Previous experience in manufacturing industry
  • Working knowledge of Indirect taxation
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint
