Summary of the Role:

The position is accountable for managing banking relationships, cash management and accounts receivable management with timely collection, customer credit management and accurate reporting.

 

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:  
Treasury
•    Overseeing day to day banking operations
•    Managing relationship with bankers
•    Ensuring bank charges, interest, etc are correctly calculated by Bank.
•    Ensure to get competitive rates on banking transactions, forex deals, etc.
•    Ensure Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) (Law governed by Reserve Bank of India which is a the Apex Bank) compliances for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and External Commercial Borrowing (ECB), filing of various returns viz. External Commercial Borrowing monthly form filling with Reserve Bank of India, Foreign Assets and Liabilities Annual Form filling with Reserve Bank of India etc.
•    Relevant statues are complied with for foreign inward and outward remittances and providing information to various stakeholders.
•    Preparing cash flow report for actual and projected, cash flow planning.

Accounts Receivable 
•    Ensuring timely recording of customers receipts, debit notes/credit notes
•    Strong follow up of overdue invoices through account managers and manage DSO levels.
•    Customer credit limits are reviewed and monitored.

 

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

Education / Certification:  
•    Bachelor of Commerce or similar qualification.

 

Experience and Skills:  
•    Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in treasury 
•    Excellent in MS Excel
•    Working in SAP environment is must.
•    Working knowledge of FEMA, banking regulations is strongly recommended.
•    Good in written and communication skills.
