As Account Manager (m/f/d) you will take responsibility for Lubrizol’s profitability by executing Product Line strategies and managing key defend/grow opportunities across several accounts to deliver sustainable growth. 

 

The position will be located in our Milan offices or home office-based in Italy

 

In this role, the successful candidate will:

 

  • Execute business strategy for selected market segments and targeted accounts
  • Grow and manage current key direct accounts
  • Identify core growth accounts and build strong customer relationships
  • Support growth initiatives for the business and introduction of new products
  • Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements
  • Communicate well throughout the organization
  • Comply timely and accurately with administrative requirements, such as CRM and sales forecasting
  • Share market information with internal stakeholders


To be successful you will need:  

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry
  • Minimum 3-5 years commercial experience
  • Knowledge of lubricant and fuel additives industry is a strong plus
  • Strong relationship building and effective communication skills
  • Proven self-sufficiency and driving results
  • Fluent in Italian and English, working proficiency in in another language (French, Dutch, Spanish)   would be a plus
  • Willingness to travel regularly to fulfill responsibilities
